best magazine

While I was living in England I was a magazine addict..still am..(hubby just turns a blind eye to the piles of mags everywhere)anyways my favorite one was Livingetc..I bought it from day one and fell in love with everything about it..
Since being in America I have gone to buy Living Etc a few times, but the prices is so high and on our tight budget it would be considered a nono. So i just go to my local Barnes & Noble and devour it..And then I found i could go on there website www.livingetc.com...Im a very happy lady.
So i thought i would go through and post some great rooms from past editions..all photos can be found on their site under houses..




i love the huge open doors out to their yards....I want that..I also love the all white room with a splash of color and then the texture of the brick outside it feels like its apart of the room.and this room i just love the warmth of the wood floors and the HUGE windows.

Hope everyone has a great weekend...Mine can only go up..Believe me..
Our pipes burst this morning and flooded the bathroom and as my husband is recovering from knee surgery.. It was me and me to clean everything up..And get to the store on time..I'm exhausted..

I don't know about you, but I'm having a garden and doggie weekend..
Doing some weeding and getting the soil ready for my winter veggie's and playing with the dogs sounds like heaven right now..

Im sorry ,I made a mistake on my last post the yellow blouse is not made from recycled goods but the bag is..still the blouse is beautiful and unique..don't you think????

Hubby and I can only dream of going away as he is laid up for 6 weeks as he had knee surgery..So I thought we would pretend, we are going to the oregan coast(to get away from this HEAT) and did a little web shopping for our trip..And as I just talked to my nan in England I thought i would do some shopping there(you know while we are pretending)I really miss shopping in England,not that i dont like shopping here or anywhere for that matter....But they just have some of the best flipin shops....All of these items were online at TOAST,NEWLOOK,
NEXT and MONSOON..I really am struggling with the placement of photos so I am sorry if it is a little scattered.

Happy Friday everyone...
Its been awhile since my last post..things have been a little hectic around the store and home..
so let's See..It was the 1 year anniversary of my mum's passing on July 27th..so my sister and nephew came to visit and we thought we would do something fun instead of being sad..So we went river rafting..oh boy it was great it started all calm and then in the middle in got a little scary we were all laughing so hard and one point i thought we were going to be swallowed up by the water..It was great seeing my sister and Logan..
then a couple of weeks ago I went to the city(SF) to look for vintage dresses for the store....Thank you patty for coming with me..we went into parts of the town that I don't think I would want to go by myself..But we had a great day and found some cute dresses...also we came across this store sorry cant remember what it was called(but it was on haight street) and the picture does not do their window display justice but it was so cool..They had some of the best vintage clothes I've seen..also here is a picture of one of the dresses I scored for the store..I love the color shame it doesn't fit me..maybe 20lbs less and I could squeeze into it. .Also thought I would throw in one of me wearing a skirt from my store BOHO and the blouse(vintage)that i found at Goodwill for 5 bucks...Well have a great weekend everyone....
