moving tommorow

Im exhausted...How did we collect so much stuff(crap) in the 7 years we have lived here, and in the 10 years we have lived in this country!!!!!!!!Ive been organizing and cleaning allday..the movers come tomorrow and then I have to clean all over again and also try and finish a piece of furniture for a client..Just  shoot me now...Well I better go finish I mught not be on here for a couple of weeks but, I will be back..Wish me luck!!!

He's back home....

My son flew into San Francisco last night....I am so excited that he will be home with us this Christmas( and not in Afganistan)Last year was very hard....
I love Christmas...It's my favorite holiday......And this one is going to be even more special as we will all be together in our house one last Christmas before we move to SF....And then we will be having our open house party on Boxing Day..So fun.....

Now, I know how Santa feels.I've been super busy this week getting ready for one last craft show,painting a commisioned piece and getting ready for my son to come home for Christmas....

 Just finished this beauty for a client.....its an old sewing tanble that she is going to reuse as a bedside  table...it was pretty beat up until I got my hands on it....

 Finishing off all that last bits for the show tomorrow evening..Very excited about this show it should be great....

 At least somebody gets some rest in our house....

The girls are coming over for wine,lunch, and nail painting.....And the best thing is hubby is cooking our lunch..(he's the best)I hope you lovelies have something fun to do this weekend too.....

Oh My....This is im sure, the best work space in the world....You can just feel the creativity swirling around in your head..and thats just from looking at the pictures..just imagined what you could create if you worked there..
Now two people have bloged about this space this week...One stated it was Freepeople's offices and the other said Urban Outfitters..So who ever owns this fab..place!!!!!! I want to work for you..

So on Sunday we signed the lease on our new flat in San Francisco..Excited - yes, nervous - bigger yes..
hubby will be moving next week and then I will be moving dec.28th....So needless to say the next few week will be crazy..I finish work  this sat and then I am officially a stay at home worker..Just hope people want to buy my things so I can make some money..If not out in to the big world with the thousands of others looking for work..
  I think the hardest thing for me is being confident in myself and my talent, As I look thru other crafters blogs I keep wishing I can be like them...confident,carefree, and sooo talented...
But maybe doing this fulltime will help me become more confident...I mean think about I really dont have a choice if this is what I want to do.. I have to puy myself out there to sell my things..otherwise I have only failed myself...Does this make sense to anyone else???? Do you doubt yourself and if you do how do you work thru it?


Anyways I thought I would show you a few pics of the new flat..its empty of course..so later when we move in properly I will take more..

Today I would like to Thank

      I would like to thank all the brave men and women who serve our country and keep us safe...

Today my son is coming home from Afghanistan, safe and sound and I am very happy, I will still remember all of you that are still over there and Iraq fighting this war...

I must really try harder on this blog..oh yeah and free gift time.....

I feel like I really have been neglecting my blog as of late, but I have been feeling a little out of sorts since I closed my store..maybe I need to change the name of my blog(not even sure if I can do that)As I am no longer Boho Boutique and Consignment...
   I think maybe that might help me feel more motivated.. Start a fresh as this seems to be a new begining for our family, moving to San Fran.. and starting to focus on my Etsy storehttp://www.bohoshop.etsy.com/ more as well as my Eclectic Treasure shows..What do you guys think would love to hear your feedback...

my week in pictures......

 Since last friday I feel like I havent stopped....




First stop.. Friday morning hubby and I were off to San francisco, he is up for a promotion and had to go to the city to see the big man....We are still waiting to find out the outcome...

Friday night friends over for pizza and games..we had so much fun.....

Saturday we had the 2nd Eclectic Treasure show at my house..Met some great ladies and Michelle... thank you for our class on ring making....

Sunday I left for LA to see my sis and adorable nephew. oh and the crazy fat cat, Bowser...We had great fun walking on the beach,going to thrift stores, much to my sis's disgust(are we in the same family..I wonder) drinking wine and just hanging out...

and then I started making my new rings..(thanks again to the awesome Michelle for our lesson in ring making....)

And the finally of the week..... We found out Hubby is going to be promoted and that we will be moving to the Bay area..I have to admit I'm having very mixed feelingsabout this..I'm scared,nervous ,excited and overall happy and very proud of my hubby...now time to get busy finding a place to move..anyone know of a 2 bedroom plus garage that would love to rent to us and our two lovely dogs..That just happens to be great, fantastic, cute and dirt cheap!!!!!!!!!!!

So I am having a show this saturday at my house, so I have been busy painting, sanding, sewing, ect...im exhausted but I love it.....Im so happy that I am able to turn the ugly and unused into what I think is something beautiful and useful...keep your fingers crossed for a successful show..

my week so far....

So this week has been pretty standard...working, painting, paying bills....but I also got to slip in a margarirta night with two great friends and a walk with another awesome friend and then im doing lunch tomorrow with yet another wonderful friend...And then this weekend i am busy preparing for my show next Saturday YEY...i love having these shows and seeing some of my old customers from my brick and mortar store......

sooo blah......

Things in our house have been a little crazy lately.......I have been working to many hours at my Part-time job,my hubby is waiting to hear back on a promotion in which we will be moving to the San Francisco area(scary) are son is getting ready to leave afganistan in 6 weeks(YEY)and for some reason Sacramento has decided to have a late summer its been in the high 90's to over 100 for the last two weeks...So needless to say I have had little time to do what I enjoy... Painting my furniture!!!! And I have a big show coming up at my house this month...So I need to get busy.....But in the meantime I thought I would show you some of the things I am loving as of late....

saw this on sometimes sweet and it really hit home..hubby and I have been talking alot about how things are going in our life and what we would like to change...and it seems someone somewhere has been hearing a promotion and a move might be instore for us...could be very exciting..We should know over the next couple of weeks..so watch this space....
