I love this picture the red scarf is fantastic and I have a built in hutch in my house and have been trying to decide whether i should paint it..When we first moved in it was painted and we stripped everything back to the wood.But now it seems so dark and this looks so fresh and clean..I think I have decided!!!
What I really like though is that she takes her pictures with out showing her face..If you read one of my previous post I don't like having my picture taken so I think I found the answer:0)

Is it Friday already......

I am so tired..Hubby is away and I am not sleeping well..So the thought of wrapping up in these comfy clothes and having a relaxing weekend seeing friends, drinking coffee and window shopping would be perfect.......Hope you all have a great one....

Fear

Most people that know me know I hate having my photo taken..you see I have a gap in my top front teeth which make me feel ugly and I don't smile very often(plus side very few wrinkles around my eyes, down side not many photos of me looking happy.. )so, anyways I have been practicing by taking pictures of my self not because I'm conceited but because I want to feel relaxed in front of a camera and because when my kids get married I want to be able to have my photo taken and look happy, the family joke is I will pay for a stand in in the photos:0)

Also I've been thinking about this alot, we all have imperfections or feel we do and that is what makes us beautiful and different from everyone else so I'm going to do my best, to embrace my imperfections and smile ...

I start my weekend today..I'm very excited as I'm off to LA to see my sister and nephew..They live real close to Venice Beach, so my nephew and I will be keeping up with our little tradition of going down there and collecting black rocks.
And then I will be doing some serious shopping for the boutique and of course for myself!!

Local Artist

I've been busy trying to organise a craft/fashion show outside my store in November..I have been on Etsy looking at local artist(that etsy thinks of everything!!)to see if they would be interested,and oh my what a talented bunch of artists we have right on our doorstep. Happy Weekend everyone..
This week has been crazy...busy,busy,busy..I finished 5 pieces of furniture for the store and got in lots of clothes.I have also been trying to organize BOHO'S first craft/fashion fair for November..And on top of that I have family coming in from England...whew time to breathe..
So for the next two days, I'm going to enjoy good conversation, great wine and some time away..I think we are off to see some giant redwoods,a couple of rivers and maybe if I'm really lucky some shopping but,as all our visitors are men..I'm seriously doubting that will happen..
But next weekend I'm off to LA so I will definitely have my fix for shopping then..I'm very excited..Shopping and the beach what else do I need:0)
So,Im leaving with you some new picture of BOHO....Have a great weekend...

happy friday

IT"S HERE..FALL I MEAN...

It's here finally...
I feel like I can breathe and not pass out from the heat...
I love Fall even though I live in California and our Fall is not as great as say the East coast, we still have tree's turning and winds blowing, that's enough for me..



So I went on H&M', website and they have this great program where you can put together whole outfits..from choosing the model all the way to their undergarment's..And it also tells you the prices of each item.I had a lot of fun playing around with this..And i really love these outfits.I think I might just have to take myself off to H&M..

So things in the Boutique have been pretty quiet(I must admit a little worried)But my refurbished furniture seems to be going well..I have even had a couple of specials orders which is nice.so i thought I would post some pics of some I just finished and some I'm still working on.
